In 2005, the Society acquired three surplus federal government houses to provide homes for low- to moderate-income families. The majority of housing applications that we receive come from singles and couples. To meet this housing demand, the society decided to sell two of the houses to community families at below market value. These resources are being redirected into multiple-unit housing projects.
