Heritage House opened in 1986. It is a two storey, 10-unit apartment block located on Oceanview Drive overlooking Bearskin Bay. It was built in partnership with BC Housing, which until recently has provided subsidies for the tenants. Heritage House provides low cost, independent living for seniors who are 65 or older. Major renovations were completed in 2023, including new windows, heat pumps, balconies, bathrooms and kitchens. Also, the unused common room was converted into a waterfront market rental suite, which will help to subsidize the other 10 units.
